This policy describes what information Take-Home Clarity (“we”, “us”) and our advertising partners collect when you use this website, and the choices you have.
Information you enter into calculators
The calculators run in your web browser using JavaScript. The salary, filing status and other values you type are not transmitted to our servers and we do not store them.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, to deliver the site, prevent abuse and keep service logs. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.
Cookies and local storage
- Cookie notice. We store a small value in your browser’s local storage to remember that you dismissed the notice at the bottom of the page.
- Advertising cookies. Third-party advertising partners, including Google, set cookies or use similar technologies as described below.
- Affiliate cookies. If you click an affiliate link and visit another site, that site may set its own cookies so that the referral can be credited.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how some third-party content works but does not stop the calculators.
Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

Payments
If we sell digital products, payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number. Stripe’s handling of your data is described in its own privacy policy.
Your rights
California and other U.S. states. Residents of California and several other states may have the right to know what personal information a business collects, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising. We do not knowingly sell personal information for money; some advertising cookies may be treated as “sharing” under state laws, and you can opt out using the Google and aboutads.info links above or your browser’s Global Privacy Control setting.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. You have rights to access, correct, delete and restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
To make a request, email contact@dollarfinch.com. Because we do not keep the values entered into calculators and do not maintain user accounts, there is usually little personal data for us to retrieve; data held by advertising partners must be managed through their tools.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Our pages link to government sites and to partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do.
